You might not expect to find a wonderful restaurant within such a beautiful national park. When the park loop road ends and you think that it can't get any better somehow it does and you find the Jordan Pond House Restaurant.
For those of you who are not aware of Acadia National Park it is the only national park in New England. Here you will find some of the most spectacular views of the ocean and mountains on the east coast.

Within the park itself, head over to Sand Beach to soak up some sun and take a dip in the frigid ocean water, if you dare. You can also visit the Wild Gardens of Acadia at Sieur de Monts Springs where you will find carnivorous plants.
